We’ve made a few updates to the Fine Print document, which is the foundational guide and standards for Buy Nothing Project groups on Facebook. Based on lessons we’ve learned over the past 8 years, we have updated our wording to make it possible for Buy Nothing communities on Facebook to use the Fine Print for either a Flexible Members, Soft Boundaries model or for the One Group Per Person, Give Where You Live model. It’s our hope as co-founders of the Buy Nothing Project that each Buy Nothing community will find the approach that works best for them to build connections between people and offer everyone access to a thriving gift economy.
