About The Buy Nothing Private Groups List:

Over the past 9+years, the Buy Nothing Project has grown to over 7,000 groups on the Facebook platform and now we’re also expanding on the independent platform we built just for Buy Nothing participants. This list includes Buy Nothing communities and private groups.
You may note that many Facebook groups are transitioning to the app and you’ll see them marked as such in our list of communities.
If you are looking for a community hosted outside of our app, hopefully, your community has been shared with us so we can help you locate your community. Under the BuyNothing Umbrella, there are communities on a variety of platforms.
The embedded link on the list, below, will take you directly to a social media platform, such as Facebook. From there, you’ll want to follow the directions from that platform. If you’re having trouble gaining access to any of the communities on this list, contact the person/people listed in that community’s description, as they are the only ones who will be able to help you. • For an easy search function on Apple computers, hit command F, type in your search term and hit enter.
• For Windows hit CTRL F. Then, type in your search term and hit enter.
• The list is also alphabetical by country or continent, then state/province, city/town.
• Jump tables are there for your ease, to jump down further in the list to your country and state/province.
• At the bottom of this list, There is a key and a Form to help the list stay current. Fill out the form if you need a BN community added, removed, or name changed.
