Private Group Descriptions
This page holds descriptions that are used to describe Buy Nothing Project private groups, so that people can read about what happens in a Buy Nothing private group before they join it. A Buy Nothing private group may change its description several times over time as it grows, or to serve a particular special interest group, organization, or population. The descriptions below reflect the diversity of Buy Nothing private groups.

We will license this document to you as a gift for one-time, personal, single group, non-commercial use and adaptation to support the international Buy Nothing gift economy movement. Full attribution must be included in your version of the document, and we make that easy by including it in the text you'll use below. You may edit our document to match your group as noted below, creating your own single-use version of this document for your group. You may not distribute or share your version - instead, simply share the link to this page so others can build their own.

You need to make a couple of choices to build the correct description for your own Buy Nothing private group, and we'll walk you through that process on this page.
